WHAT ELSE CAN I
SAY? GAMBOL OWNS MY TOTAL RESPECT AND ADMIRATION.
SHE WAS A ONCE
IN A LIFETIME FRIEND AND PARTNER.
Our
relationship started out like this:
Darline Collins
met me at a dog show and told me she had the perfect pup for me.
I laughed and
said that I didn't need a new pup. At the time, I had two 9
month old pups from my A litter.
Darline said
okay and went home. She arrived at the show the next day and
handed me this picture...
Gambol came
home with a feeble "if she doesn't work out, I'm bringing her back!"
The rest, as
they say, is history.
Competing in
AKC, UKC, CKC, AAC, NADAC and USDAA trials, Gambol has excelled in each.
To date, Gambol
has competed in 98 agility trials and has qualified in 77 of them,
completing 18
agility titles between the six organizations.
GAMBOL was an
American Rottweiler Club Top Ten Agility dog in 1999 & 2003.
AND...
It has been
confirmed!!! Gambol is the only BIS/Ch/ATCh, in any breed, in the
history of the UKC!
GAMBOL finished
her CKC Championship in style.
She is shown
here going Winners Bitch during the 1999 Woodstock specialty cluster
with her
favorite friend and handler, Julia Foster
GAMBOL is an
all-breed best in show winner in both the
World Wide
Kennel Club and the United Kennel Club.
GAMBOL is also
AKC pointed, earning 6 points, owner handled.
I never made a
sincere effort to finish her...we were just too busy.
Do I regret
it? Not at all. The fun we had was worth more than any Championship!
GAMBOL also has
been successful in the obedience ring and is shown
earning her AKC
Companion Dog Excellent title at the 1998 MRC Specialty.
GAMBOL
completed her AKC, CKC, UKC and SKC Companion Dog titles without
ever failing a
trial. She received many nice placements along the way.
The consummate
mother...Gambol raised
19 of her own kids,
plus nursed and
reared two litters for other bitches.

My sincerest
thanks to Don and Pearl Thompson (Oakview) and Darline Collins
(Coldar Rottweilers) for producing this once in a
lifetime dog
and for being there for me throughout Gambol's life.
Thank you also
for your support and guidance as I began
my breeding
program. Without you, Elke and Chance, we would not have the
wonderful dogs that we do now.
I am forever indebted...
Lastly, thank
you for teaching me what it means to be a breeder....from Darline's
dedication to making sure that this puppy went to the right home to
Pearl's honesty and caring, to Don's unwavering love for every dog
he's produced...I hope I can live up to the example that each of you
has set for me.
